First in Flight Centennial Commemorative Five Dollar Gold Coin

The United States of America had issued this commemorative five-dollar gold coin in the year 2003. This gold coin was issued to commemorate First Flight Centennial.On 17th December 1903, two brother Orville and Wilbur Wright; two American investors and pioneer of aviation were successful in flying the first airplane in the History. This invention had completely changed people an experience of traveling to one place to another.
The United States of America will donate the portion from the sale of this coin to the First Flight Foundation. This price will be used for repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining the Wright Brothers National Memorial Park which also includes providing educational programs and exhibits for visitors.
The obverse of this coin depicts the bust of Orville and Wilbur Wright. The reverse of this coin depicts the Wright brothers flying the first airplane with an eagle flying above.
