The obverse has the portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen (1866-1925), while the reverse depicts The Chung-Shan Building that is part of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall complex. Completed in 1966, the building is located in the Yangmingshan National Park in Taipei, Taiwan.
