Cambodia 20 Riels banknote of 1972

Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country's northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire.The official currency of Cambodia is the riel. Today we are discussing a 20 Riel banknote issued in 1972. The obverse depicts a Combine harvester; while the reverse depicts the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh.
This brownish note has the Bayon stone face of Bodhisattva Lokesvara in Angkor Thom as its watermark.
