Athena holds a spear in her left hand and the golden bridle in the right, which is used to tame Pegasus. Other inscriptions include Ag 999 1 OUNCE ONE DOLLAR and ‘P’ privy mark.

Obverses feature a royally approved portrait of Queen Elizabeth II along with inscriptions BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS, QUEEN ELIZABETH II and 2017.

Each 31.103 grams coin is struck four times to create the frosted-finish background and striking relief.
