Department of Post has issued a miniature sheet which includes a set of 6 postal stamps of Hill Forts of Rajasthan which is also listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site- The featured forts are: Amer Fort of Jaipur which is built by Meenas and later ruled by Raja Man Singh; Kumbhalgarh Fort of Mewar built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century; Jaisalmer Fort was built by Rajput Rawal in 1156 AD where one-fourth of the population still live inside the fort campus; Gagron Fort of Jhalwar was built by Raja Bijili Dev in the 12th century; Chittorgarh Fort is one of the largest forts with 65 structures and two famous towers namely Vijay Stambh and Kirti Stambh; And Ranthambore Fort is situated at Ranthambore National Part built by Chauhan rulers in the 10th century-
