This Square Heavy Gold Mohur issued by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the Hijri year 987 is sold for INR 2, 25,000 at Todywlla Auction held in Mumbai on 20th July 2019. The weight of this coin is around 12.1g and this coin was minted in Dar-us-Sultanate Fathpur. This coin is very rare and it is in extremely fine condition.
The obverse of this gold mohur is inscribed with the name and title of Akbar between two parallel lines with Hijri Date and Khallada Allah Mulkahu at the top. The reverse of this coin is inscribed with the Kalima in diamond formed by elongating some letters in names of caliphs in the margin.
