The sale of ‘New Amsterdam Collection of United States Stamp’ is conducted by Cherrystone on July .There are great variety of rare and valuable philatelic material available in this sale. One of the most eyes catching is 1867 3c Washington Grill stamp, this specimen of this interesting lost is accepted to fetch more than $450,000.

The 3 cent Grill is one of the four discovered together on the cover to Germany. It is the scarcest stamps. The example offered by Cherrystone is centred to upper left has natural straight edges at right.

The emergence of this stamp along with actual cover from which it originated is a major philatelic revelation as both have not been see in over 50 years.
