Global Wind Day is a worldwide event that occurs annually on 15 June. It is a day for discovering wind energy, its power and the possibilities it holds to reshape our energy systems, decarbonise our economies and boost jobs and growth.
Organised by WindEurope (windeurope.org) and GWEC (Global Wind Energy Council), it is a day when wind energy is celebrated. Information is exchanged and adults and children find out about wind energy, its power and the possibilities it holds to change the world.
With the association of EWEA and GWEC 30 countries and four continents as participate to enhance this natural renewable energy.
