Harpers Ferry National Park is situated in a junction between Potomac and Shenandoah rivers in and around Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The park includes land in the Shenandoah Valley in Jefferson County, West Virginia; Washington County, Maryland and Loudoun County, Virginia. This national park was designed as Harpers Ferry National Monument in the year 1944 and in the year 1963, it was declared as Harpers Ferry National Park. Harpers Ferry National Park has a wide variety of activities for both individuals and families. This National Park explores museums and exhibits.

The United States of America had issued a commemorative quarter dollar with the theme of Harpers Ferry National Park in the year 2016. The reverse of this coin depicts John Brown Fort, the site of John Brown’s last stand during his raid on the Harpers Ferry Armory.
