Indiana is state of United States of America located in Midwestern and Great Lakes region of America. It is 38th largest state by area and 17th most populous state amongst 50 states of the United States of America. State Indiana borders to Lake Michigan to the northwest, Michigan to the north, Ohio to the east, Kentucky to the south and southeast and Illinois to the west.
The United States of America had issued a commemorative coin with the theme of State Indiana in the year 2002. This coin is the fourth coin released in the year 2002 and overall it is the 19th coin release in 50 State Quarters Program. A reverse of this coin depicts the image of the race car with an image of an outline map of the state at the background with 19 states. The 19 stars signify that the state was 19th admitted into the union.
