Shenandoah National park is situated in Virginia State of United States of America. It encompasses part of United States of Virginia. This park is long and narrow, with the broad Shenandoah River and Valley on the west side and the rolling hills of the Virginia Piedmont on the east. Skyline Drive is also one of the most prominent features of this park. Almost 40 percent of the land of these forest is been designated as wilderness and it is protected as part of the National Wilderness Preservation System.

The United States of America had issued a commemorative quarter dollar with the theme of Shenandoah National Park. This quarter dollar was issued in the year 2014. This is a second-quarter dollar issued in the year 2014 and overall it is 22nd quarter dollar issued in America Beautiful Quarter Dollar Program.
