The United States of America had issued this quarter dollar with the theme of Yellow Stone National Park in the year 2010. This quarter dollar is the second quarter dollar in the year 2010 and also a second overall in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.

Yellow Stone National Park is an American national park situated in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. It was established in the year 1872, and till today it remain one of the country's most popular national parks with millions of annual visitors. Yellowstone National Park sits on top of a dormant volcano and is home to more geysers and hot springs than any other place on earth. This national park is one of the most famous national parks which is recognized as the natural wonders in the United States.
