Yadava Gold Padma-Tanka Listed For INR 16,000

Yadavas of Devagiri had ruled the Indian regions of Maharashtra, North Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh around 850 to 1334 CE. The Feudatories of Yadava of Devagiri were Western Chalukyas.This Padma-Tanka coin was issued by Krishna Deva of Yadava of Devagiri. The weight of this coin is around 3.8g. The obverse of his coin depicts five punches, punch of a lotus in the centre, two letters of Kannada letter ‘Shri’, one punch of ‘Shanka' or Conch and one punch of Devanagari legend ‘Kanhadeva’ with bow below.
This rare gold Padma-Tanka is listed for INR 16,000 in the upcoming auction of Todywalla, which will be held in Mumbai on 5th August 2018.
