This Quarter Anna was issued by Mir Mahbub Ali Khan of Hyderabad during the 28th year of his reign in the Hijri year 1312. The Patterns coins are the coins which are not issued for circulation but produced for the purpose of evaluating a coin design. They are collected or studied by many coin collectors because of its historical importance. This is the only Quarter Anna issued by Hyderabad but was never put into circulation. This Quarter Anna weighs around 5.4g. This quarter Anna is offered in Auction for an estimated price of INR 2,75,000 in the upcoming Auction of Todywalla which will be held in Mumbai on 20th April 2018.
