2018-03-23 Fri
As per a public voting, the next banknotes of Britain could feature Prince Harry and not his father after the Queen dies. There is a possibility that all £5, £10 and £20 notes will feature Prince Harry and not Prince Charles. The Queen has been featured on the obverse of British banknotes since 1960. The next in line was officially supposed to be Prince Charles when the Queen dies and he becomes King. However, as per a poll conducted by Coininvest, Prince Harry was a popular choice.
Harry got 21% of the votes, Prince Philip got 23% of the votes, and 17% of them voted for Princess Diana. Author Roald Dahl got the most number of votes with 28% of the vote-share, actor Alex Guinness stood second with 25% of the vote-share and actress Judi Dench got 23% of the votes.
The numbers were completely different for different age-groups. The poll was generic and might not be officially considered.
