This floral designed silver coin was issued by Tokelau, an island country in the Pacific Ocean. The Lady of Fortune, a personification of both good and bad luck in ancient Roman religion. This coin was minted in BH Mayer Mint, Germany.This coin is magnificently shaped diamondesque silver proof coin. This unique shape coin was issued in 2014. It was struck from 1 oz of .999 fine silver with a beautiful antique touch to it.
The reverse side of this on dollar silver coin depicts Lady of Fortune standing splendidly on the rota of fortunae, the wheel of fortune. Behind her, a setting sun and sail ship are shown. Around the centre image striking proof quality designs of mythical sea creatures treasuring the grace of Fortuna. The inscription around it reads “Fortune/Happiness comes”.
The obverse side of this coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II within the ornamented and engraved frame. Only 2,500 specimens of this coin were issued. This beautiful coin will be a favoured specimen in a collection.
