The Saint Laurent Coin Released by France

Paris Mint recently released The Saint Laurent coin which is meant to symbolize contemporary artistic France. The coin features Yves Saint Laurent, his iconic Mondrian dress and the Centre Pompidou.The coin belongs to the Europa Star series, which starts this year with a five-year program featuring the five ages of Europe, beginning with a modern 20th-century theme.
The new coins come in silver and gold, with face values starting at 5 Euros, to 500 Euros. Their actual price tags range from 67 Euros to 9,700 Euros.
