England released new £10 note depicting a portrait of Jane Austen. It is the fifth redesign of the £10 note and could be the last one to feature Queen Elizabeth. Notes are redesigned in England approximately once in 20 years. The next change is expected in 2037. Before that, it is expected that Prince Charles will ascend to the throne. When that happens, new notes and coins will start depicting his portrait. It might take many years to replace the entire money in circulation. There have been reports that the Prince of Wales has sat for portraits that will be used on new currency, stamps and post boxes. There have not been any official comments on his accession though.

Charles will become king when the Queen passes away. The accession council will declare him as the new monarch after convening at St James’s Palace. A few months later, Charles will be coronated at Westminster Abbey. It is not sure if Camilla will become the little Queen. Prince William will take the title The Prince of Wales. Kate will be called as Princess of Wales. Prince George will become second-in-line, Princess Charlotte third and Prince Harry fourth. If Harry has married girlfriend Meghan Markle then they will be called The Prince and Princess Henry.
