The smell of coffee is one that mostly everyone loves. It is so intoxicating that you feel extremely fresh and energetic not only when you drink it but even when you smell it! What if I say that by just spending Rs. 100 you could have coffee in your collection forever?Well, India Post has made it possible for you to do just that. Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications and Minister of State for Railways Shri. Manoj Sinha released this coffee flavored miniature stamp sheet on 23rd April 2017 at Bangalore. Besides him, Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitaram was also present.
The saga of Indian coffee though began in 1600 AD; it gained prominence under the British Raj. Since then, Indian coffee industry has made rapid strides and earned a distinct identity in the coffee map of the world.
Besides India, countries like Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Poland, etc have also issued coffee scented stamps.
