Orders for the 2017 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin-Frederick Douglass National Historic Site will be accepted from 2nd May.

The reverse features Frederick Douglass on a writing desk at his Washington D.C. home. Other inscriptions include "FREDERICK DOUGLASS," "DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA," "2017," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The obverse features a portrait of George Washington.

The .999 fine silver coins, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, having a diameter of 3 inches, have a mintage limit of 150,000 units. They come in a presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity for $149.95 USD. Pricing might vary depending upon the spot price of the metal.
