A huge range of Tibetan banknotes belonging to a famous collector of Tibetan currency, Alexander Boris Lissanevitch, were offered at Stack's Bowers Hong Kong Paper Money sale on 3rd April. The star note offered at the event was a rare Bank of China 1912 Provisional One Dollar Note featuring Bank of China overprints on Ta Ching Government Bank P-A77. They have beautiful ABN designs for Chinese currency, with multi-colour under-prints, interesting central vignettes and back design.
