Kyrgyz Republic Releases Modified Banknotes

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic issued Modified Series IV banknotes falling under the National Currency of the 2016 Model. 50 and 100 soms notes were released in the 2016 issue as of March 1st. The new notes feature clear classical portraits. They will be circulated along with older notes of other denominations. They have a legal tender status within the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and have to be accepted within the territory irrespective of the year of issue.Latest News
