From 21st March to 24th March, Schuyler Rumsey Philatelic Auctions will be offering its Gems of Philately along with its bigger sale. The Gems sale features United States postal history, classic stamps, highly graded stamps, Confederate States postal history, Hawaii stamps and world stamps.

Rare items include a Canadian 12d stamp, a used repaired example of the 1851 12-penny black Queen Victoria with clear margins, Rumsey notes and a 1983 Friedl certificate. The 1959 5¢ St. Lawrence Seaway error with centre inverted: a mint never-hinged single, a used single on piece, and a rare multiple in the form of a mint never-hinged vertical pair will also be offered.
