Rainbow-toned Morgan dollar Sold For $19,000

A toned 1885-O Morgan dollar, graded MS-66+ with a CAC sticker belonging to the Northern Lights Collection was sold for $19,387.50 at Legend’s Regency XX auction in Las Vegas on 26th January.The auction offered some of the finest examples ever seen of this type. These beautifully toned coins are becoming extremely popular among collectors. The lustrous colours almost appear to be in 3-D with the obverse featuring shades of pearl green/gemmy royal blue/violet/amber colours.
