To commemorate the 120th year of Zionist Organization of America – a prominent pro-Israel group in the United States, Israeli Post is all set to release a new stamp.

Founded in 1897, the ZOA is one of the largest pro-Israel organizations in the United States. The Zionist Organization of America was instrumental in mobilizing the support of the U.S. government, Congress, and the American public for the creation of Israel in 1948.

ZOA works to educate the U.S. Congress, the media, and the public about the ongoing Arab/Islamist war against Israel, and to strengthen and enhance the U.S.-Israel relationship. Zoon works to promote the legal, religious, political and historic right of Jews.

This February, the ZOA will be completing the 120th year of its foundation. The stamp that is to be issued on 7th Feb 2017 comes with the denomination of 8.30 Israeli new shekel.

The stamp depicts the Statue of Liberty along with the four symbols under the Menorah representing the main areas of ZOA activity: Congress, Justice system, Higher Education, and Media. the tab showcases the flags of Israel and USA.
