2017-01-20 Fri

Eight stamps are going to be issued by Great Britain’s Royal mail on 17th January in four se-tenant pairs. These 8 stamps will be dedicated to the theme - ancient Britain. 10 stamps will be issued on 15th February featuring Windsor Castle which is built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century.

The 900-year-old Royal home is the largest occupied castle in the world, remains a working palace today. The Queen spends her weekend and sometimes also undertakes certain formal duties at the castle. The stamps would feature beautiful interior and exterior views of the castle including the Round Tower on a non-denominated first-class stamp.
