Polar Bear Featured on the Second Canadian Coin in Nature’s Impressions Series

The second coin in the series “Nature’s Impressions” has been released by the Royal Canadian Mint featuring the polar bear. The coins celebrate the animals of Canada and feature footprints of these animals on the edge of the coin. Polar bears live near the northern borders of Canada right till the Arctic Circle. These bears use its large paws to move through deep snow, Arctic waters, or thin ice. The polar bear’s distinctive paw prints are depicted along the coin’s edge.The bear is moving on snow-covered ice and rocks, extending its elongated neck to vocalise and looking towards the edge of the coin. Advanced finishing techniques are used to highlight minute details like the dense fur and facial features.
The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The mintage limit of this 20 Dollars .999 silver 31.3 g Proof coin is 7,500.
