Indians Could Dump Black Money in Nepal
2017-01-16 Mon
There have been reports that Indian nationals could come to Nepal to get their demonetized banknotes exchanged as the deadline for doing the same in India has already gone. These concerns were raised by Indian officials during a meeting with a Nepali delegation to discuss what would happen to the demonetized Indian banknotes currently present in Nepal.India and Nepal have a porous border due to which officials said there are more chances that Indians with black money might come down to get their money exchanged.
A strict exchange facility will be offered, the details of which will have to be worked on by both the countries.
