Rare Palestinian Currency Board Notes Certified
2017-01-09 Mon
An issued unique 50 Pound note from 1927 belonging to the collection of rare Palestinian Currency Board banknotes by Jerry and Diane Fishman has been graded PMG 30 Very Fine. Many trial banknotes with different unissued vignettes were also graded from the same collection. Most of them are the plate notes that were featured in Raphael Dabbah’s famous reference book - Currency Notes of the Palestine Currency Board.A dealer named Phil Doudar from Angeles, representing Fishman submitted the notes for grading at the Whitman Winter Expo. Doudar is happy with the results and was looking for an opportunity from a long time to get the notes graded from the prestigious PMG. The PNG, on the other hand, was also obliged for grading such a wonderful collection of rare banknotes.
