Canada Celebrates Its 150th Birthday with New Collector Coins

The Royal Canadian Mint is going to issue 40 new collector coins to celebrate the country’s 150th Anniversary. The first ones of the series, issued this year are the Proof Silver Dollar and the 2017 Classic Uncirculated Set that was released on 7th January. Officials said that this would be a once-in-a-generation experience and the coins would celebrate the beauty and glory of Canada.The 2017 $3 Fine Silver Coin - The Spirit of Canada is priced at $19.95 CAD. The 2017 $10 Fine Silver Coin Series - Celebrating Canada's 150th, will be featuring a new coin each month depicting various provinces of the country until July 2017.
