MS-69 1880-S Morgan Dollar to be Offered at the FUN Auction

The 2017 Fun Auction at Fort Lauderdale from 4th to 9th January is going to offer one of the finest known examples of the 1880-S Morgan dollar graded MS-69 Proof like by PCGS. The coin will be one among the 18 featured collections and other hundreds of coins.The Prooflike Morgan dollar features clear reflections in the fields on both sides. The 1880-S or 1881-S example was struck by the San Francisco Mint and Mint State examples of both dates are available in large quantities. The surfaces also have a tinge of pale blue and rose colouration without any major noticeable abrasions. In an October 2011 sale, the same coin was sold for $86,250.
