Daud Shah Kararani (AH 980-984; AD 1572-1576) was the Sultan of Bengal. He was the youngest son of Sulaiman Khan Kararani. After the death of his elder brother Bayazid, he was raised to the throne with the title Daud Shah.

Daud Shah Kararani's coins are similar to those of his Afgan predecessors. His coins were minted in three regions Patna, Satgaon, and Tanda. In some of his coins, mint names are off flan. Different mintmarks are found on his coins like Swastika, Knot pattern, Six-armed stars, Pentagram, five-armed whirligig.

One of his silver Rupee, which weighs around 11.3g minted in Satgaon was sold for 6,600 at Todywalla Auction held in Mumbai on 20th August 2016. The obverse of the coin is inscribed as “Daud Shah Sulaiman Shah Kararani Khallada Allah Mulkahu Wa Sultanahu “ with the mint mark swastika in the bottom left side within a square and Sri Daud Shahi written in margin in Devnagari. The reverse of the coin is inscribed as “a ilaha ill Allah Muhammad Rasulullah” in shahada within the square and name of four caliphs in four margin. This is a rare coin.
