Coin Heist is a Netflix movie, based on a novel of the same name written by Elisa Ludwig. It will be released on 6th January. It is about four teenagers (the hacker, the slacker, the athlete, and the perfect student) who discover the value of rare error coins.

The detailed story goes like this: The headmaster of a private school is arrested for embezzlement during a class tour at the US Mint. The school had to face a terrible financial crisis due to this event. The headmaster’s son - a student at the school, and his three classmates try to break into the Mint, strike a few error coins, and sell them for a huge amount.

Though the subject looks to be interesting, it has several drawbacks as it is promoting a crime. Also, the aesthetic and technical aspects that will be shown in the film may not look real enough.
