Three-Coin Set of Fort Moultrie Quarters Released

A three-coin set of 2016 Fort Moultrie quarters was released on 5th December for $9.95. The coins would be the fifth and the final ones issued this year from U.S. Mint’s America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set™. It is also the 35th coin in the series.Fort Moultrie quarters were circulated in mid-November when the sale of rolls and bags began. Quarters of the set are of a higher quality and in different finishes. The set includes:
One uncirculated coin from Denver with a ‘D’ mint mark, one uncirculated coin from Philadelphia with a ‘P’ mint mark and a proof coin from San Francisco with an ‘S’ mint mark.
The coins come in a plastic card with a scenic photo of Fort Moultrie. The card has information about the fort, the quarters’ design, and a certificate of authenticity.
