People are fascinated about stamps and coins and have a hobby of collecting them. But imagine both stamps and coins at one place!Bangladesh had issued a Miniature sheet on 21st July 2011 which depicted the Coins of independent rulers of Bengal. This miniature sheet depicts the coins of four Bengal Sultanate rulers: Sultan Fakhr al-Din Mubarak Shah, Sultan Shams al-Din Ilyas Shah, Sultan Ghiyath al-Din Azam Shah, Sultan Jalal al-Din Muhammad Shah.
The first stamps belong to Sultan Fakhr Al-Din Mubarak shah. ‘Bangladesh’ is written in both Roman and Bangla script above the Coin. Below the coin the name of the Sultan “Sultan Fakhr Al-Din Mubarak Shah” and date (AH 734-750/AD 1334-1349) is written. “Silver Coin of the Independent Sultan of Bengal” written in Roman letter vertically on the left side of the stamps and in Bangla on right side. Price 10 Taka is written on top left the corner in Bangla and top right corner in Roman.
The basic design of all the four stamps is same. The second stamp depicts the Sultan Shams Al-Din Ilyas Shah; Third depicts belongs to Sultan Ghiyath Al-Din Azam Shah, and the fourth depicts of Jalal Al-Din Muhammad Shah.
