Coin of the Last Sultan of Slave Dynasty

Shams Al-Din Kayumarth (689; AD 1290) was the son of Muizz Al-Din Kaiqubad. He was just three years old when he was made to sit on the throne by his nobles.Shams Al-din Kayumarth was the last sultan of Slave dynasty and had ruled for a short period of time. Hence coins struck on his name are extremely rare.
One of his Silver Tanka minted at Hadrat Delhi which weighs around 10.9gm was sold for INR 1, 80,000 at Classical Numismatics Gallery in an Auction held on 11th December 2015. This Coin reads as “Al-Sultan Al-Azam shams al-Dunya wa Al-Din Abul Muzaffar Kayumarth” within the double rectangle on the obverse. And “al-Imam al-Musta'asim Amir al-Momineen within a circle on the reverse, mint name Hadrat Delhi and date 689 (in words) are written in the margin.
