Scented Stamps

New trend has been set up in the world of Philately. In last few years growing number of scented stamp were issued in many countries. Here are few examples.Bhutan is the first nation to issue scented postal stamps. The set of six stamps depict beautiful roses and each one of them has their distinct scent. India the immediate neighbour of Bhutan also has released two types of scented stamp. One of them is Jasmine and the other one is sandal scented stamps depicting an image of an elephant sculpture. Both of these stamps bear the typical Indian scent.
Brazil has also issued two distinctive scented stamps. Coffee was an obvious guess. This coffee scented stamp is a gift to the coffee lovers of the world. Brazil’s another issue is the Burnt-Wood-Scented Stamp. Brazil released this set of four stamps to aware people about hazards of deforestation.
Scented stamp of China is the most unique one. The stamp has the aroma of favourite Chinese delicacy Sweet-and-Sour-Pork. Besides, China also has issued stamps having the scent of local fruits.
More of such stamps will make post offices the most aromatic place of the world.
