Malwa Sultan Ghiyath Shah Silver Coinage

Malwa Sultan Ghiyath Shah issued two types of silver coin varieties: special issues and normal issues.In the special issues, tankas were issued in two shapes: round and square. The round tankas came in two varieties, distinguished by their legends. One type features the "Al-Sultan" inscription, while the other displays the "Al-Wathiq" inscription. A square silver tanka was also issued as part of these special releases. All coins from these special issues are scarce.
Under the normal issues, only square-shaped coins were issued.
This Silver Half Tanka, which weighs 5–5.5 g, was issued by Ghiyath Shah during his rule.
Obverse: Al-Wathiq Bi'l Malik Al-Multaji Abu'l Fath Ghiyath Shah.
Reverse: Bin Mahmud Shah Al-Khaji Al-Sultan Khallada Mulkahu.
