Bharatpur State, also known as the Jat State of Bharatpur, was a Hindu Kingdom in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent ruled by the Sinsinwar clan of the Hindu Jats. The royal house of Bharatpur traces its history back to the 11th century AD. The rulers of Bharatpur claim their descent, as Jadon Rajputs, from Sind Pal, common ancestor with the House of Karauli.Maharaja Jaswant Singh of Princely State Bharatpur issued this gold Half-Mohur(5.64g) in the name of Mughal ruler Muhammad Akbar II.
The obverse is inscribed with the name and title of the Mughal ruler Muhammad Akbar II, and the reverse features regnal year (RY) 43, dagger and star mint mark.
