Billion Jital of Chauhans of Ajmer king Prithviraj Chauhan

Chauhans or Chahamanas of Sakambhari(modern Sambhar) or Chauhans of Ajmer ruled parts of Rajasthan between the 6th and 12th centuries.Prithviraj III, popularly known as Prithviraj Chauhan, ruled this dynasty between 1177 CE and 1192 CE.
Prithviraj Chauhan issued this Billon Jital, Bull and Horseman type. The obverse features a seated bull facing to the right in the centre and Nagari legend Samantdev above. The reverse features a horse rider to the right with Nagari legend Shri Prithvi Raj Dev around.
