A New Chapter in Bhutan's Philatelic History

On 20 September 2023, Bhutan Post released the NFT Stamps on 12 Deeds of Buddha which was first released in the year 2014.Bhutan Post intends to tokenize its complete Philatelic collection as NFTs, creating a New Era for Classic Philatelists.
The Post further aspires to make stamp collecting more entertaining digitally, to appeal to baby boomer philatelists and collectors in the Modern Age.
Bhutan Post partners with an EU-based company called 'Stampsdaq', an NFT firm dedicated to working with official postal operators worldwide.
