Copper Square Drachm of Indo-Greek King Zoilos II

The Indo-Greek kingdom, also known as the Graeco-Indian Kingdom, was founded by Graeco-Bactrian king Demetrius, who invaded the subcontinent early in the 2nd century BC.Zoilos II Soter was an Indo-Greek king who ruled over the parts of eastern Punjab. He succeeded Apollodotus II and issued coins with a symbol similar to Apollodotus II.
Zoilos II issued this Copper Square drachm of 4.60g during his rule. The obverse features Apollo standing right, with a quiver over his shoulder, holding an arrow and Greek legend around. The reverse of the coin features a tripod with a Kharosthi legend.
