Mirza Nuruddin Beig Mohammed Khan Salim also known by his imperial name Salim or Jahangir.
Jahangir was the fourth Mughal Emperor, ruled between 1605 CE and 1627 CE and was the greatest patron of fine arts.
Jahangir issued this silver half-rupee with his pre-accession name, Salim Shah. The obverse features his name, Salim Shah, and the reverse features the mint name Ahmedabad and Ilahi Month Isfandarmuz.
This silver half-rupee was sold for INR 90000 at the Oswal Auction held in Kolkatta in 2023.
