Silver Rupee of Independent Kingdom Sikh Empire

The Sikh Empire also known as Sikh Khalsa Raj or Sarkar-i-Khalsa, was a major power that originated in the Punjab region of the Indian Subcontinent during the medieval period. This empire was founded under the leadership of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, also known as Sher-e-Punjab, when he captured Lahore in 1799 and diminished with the annexation of Punjab by the British East India Company in the Second Anglo-Sikh War 1849.This silver rupee of 11.04g was by ruler of Sikh Empire from Amritsar Mint.
