100 Slovenia Tolar Banknote

The Bank of Slovenia issued Slovenian Tolar Banknotes in 15 different denominations, including 100 Slovenian Tolar Banknotes with an image of Richard Jakopic. The Bank of Slovenia started issuing these 100 Slovenian Tolar banknotes in 1992. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2007.Richard Jakopic is known to be a pioneer of Slovenian Impressionist Painter and theoretician.Over 1200 paintings and 600 drawings by Jakopic have been preserved and are in the gallery. In 1965, a primary school in Siska is named after him. The paper banknote contains the words ‘Banka Slovenije’.
