Commemorative Stamp of Dr Rajendra Prasad

Every year, on December 3rd, we observe the birth anniversary of India's first president, Dr Rajendra Parasad. This year will celebrate the 136th Birth Anniversary of Dr Rajendra Prasad.Dr Rajendra Pradas served India as president between 1950 and 1962. He is the longest-serving president of India, who had served India as president for almost 12 years. He was born December 03, 1884, in Ziradei, Bengal Presidency. He was a significant figure in the Indian freedom movement and played a vital role in making the Indian Constitution. In 1962, he was honoured with the highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna. He died on February 28, 1963, at the age of 78 years.
The government of India issued his commemorative stamp in 1984 to commemorate him and his work.
