Commemorative Stamp of Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoleon Bonaparte was born on 15th August 1769, later known as Napoleon I. Napoleon served as a French military commander and a political leader. He came to the forefront during the ongoing French Revolution.He led several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary War. Bonaparte was the first Consul of the Republican French from 1799 to 1804. br>
Napoleon Bonaparte was crowned the King of France on 2nd December 1804 and reined until 1814. Napoleon died on 5th May 1821 at the age of 51.
The above-given commemorative stamp was issued by Moldova, on 28th February 2007. This multicolour stamp has a face value of 85 Moldovan bans. On the stamp, we can see a portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte in the centre and face values written at the bottom with a Moldovan script between the face value and the portrait. br>
