Marking its Platinum Jubilee alongside the nationwide festivities of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Delhi Police on 16th February 2022 celebrated its 75th Raising Day at New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp Ground. The Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, who was also the chief guest, took the salute and inspected the parade. During the occasion, Shri Amit Shah also released ‘Delhi Police Commemoration Stamp’ along with Shri Devusinh J Chauhan, Minister of State (Communication) and Shri Rakesh Asthana, Delhi Police Commissioner, in recognition of 75 years of glorious services rendered by Delhi Police to its citizenry.Delhi Police announced headway towards digitization whilst making public services better and more transparent on the same day launched a new and revamped website of Delhi Police, along with the e-Chittha portal and QR code led public feedback system. Shri Rakesh Asthana, Delhi Police Commissioner, launched an e-Newsletter, ‘Kissa Khaki Ka’ on the occasion of Delhi Police Raising Day. An extension of the communication outreach initiatives, it chronicles all major major activities of delhi police.
