Assam is a state located in the northeast of modern India, with Bangladesh bordering it to the west. Many kingdoms tried to conquer Assam, keeping their eye on the valley of Brahmaputra. Amongst all, the Ahoms dynasty was successful to conquered Assam.

The weight of this coin is around 11.45g.
