San Marino Wins Asiago Philatelic Award

A pair of San Marino stamps commemorating the 50th anniversary of Doctors Without Borders won the Asiago international award for philatelic art for stamps issued in 2021. Known as the Oscars of philately, the Asiago awards are given to the most beautiful philatelic art and are one of the most renowned philatelic competitions in Europe and in the world.San Marino Post, in the year 2021, issued a set of two stamps worth 0.70 and 3.10 Euros. The stamps are dedicated to Doctors without Borders. Designed by Riccardo Guasco the stamps feature people adorned with parts of hearts transformed into angel wings.
